Jesus the radical

JM led devotions today.  He is not hear most of the time and I found him refreshing.  He took the story of the widow and her dead son from Luke and pointed out that Luke was a gentile and in those days women were the property of men.  A daughter to her father, a wife to her husband and a widow to her son.

One was unclean when one touched the dead and Jesus touched and spoke to the dead boy and he arose.  Would people be curious, joyfull or offended.

Jesus cared about people and did not obey the conventions of the day.

In our ministry are we drilling holes, or building a magnificent boat for a Royal Pagent?
